中华预防医学会媒介生物学及控制分会蚊虫学组委员,中国生物化学与分子生物学学会农业生物化学与分子生物学分会理事。福建省“五四青年奖章”获得者,入选福建省高校杰出青年科研人才计划、福建省新世纪人才及福建农林大学拔尖人才,获得2019年福建省“向上向善育人工程基金”奖教金及福建农林大学第二届“严家显最高奖教金”和第一届“教学名师”。2013.8-2014.8美国密苏里大学访问学者。1999年起从事杀虫微生物资源筛选、杀虫机理及应用研究。主持国家自然科学青年基金、教育部博士点青年基金、福建省高校杰出青年科研人才计划等课题。以第1发明人获得授权国家发明专利7项,国际专利1项。以第1/通讯作者发表SCI收录论文24篇。是国际期刊《Parasite Vector》、《Scientific Reports》等论文审稿人。独立指导的本科生连续四届(第十二至十五届)获得全国大学生“挑战杯”竞赛一/二等奖及福建省大学生“挑战杯”竞赛特/一等奖。培养的学生多人次获得国家奖学金、严家显奖学金、校“三好生”等荣誉。目前工作重心主要开展第三方蛋白对Bt毒素杀虫调控及Bt抗紫外机理研究
